Cancellation Policy

At Always Vacation Rentals, each home is individually reserved and removed from availability once booked. Because our properties operate in a seasonal market with high-demand peak months, we have established the following cancellation policy to protect both our guests and our business.

By confirming a reservation, guests agree to the terms outlined below.

Peak Season:

May 15 – September 15

Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to arrival will receive a 100% refund of payments made, less a 3% non-refundable payment processing fee.
Cancellations made 14–29 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of payments made, less a 3% non-refundable payment processing fee.
Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Off Season:

September 16 – May 14

Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a 100% refund of payments made, less a 3% non-refundable payment processing fee.
Cancellations made 7–13 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of payments made, less a 3% non-refundable payment processing fee.
Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Payment Processing Fees:

All refunds are subject to a 3% non-refundable payment processing fee, which reflects charges incurred at the time of the original transaction. These fees are not returned to Always Vacation Rentals by the payment processor and therefore cannot be refunded.

Rebooking Consideration:

If a guest cancels within the non-refundable window, Always Vacation Rentals may, at its sole discretion, attempt to rebook the canceled dates.

If the dates are successfully rebooked, a refund may be issued equal to the rebooked amount, less:

A $150 administrative fee
The 3% non-refundable processing fee

Rebooking refunds are not guaranteed and depend entirely on securing a new reservation for the same dates.

Travel Insurance:

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance to protect their vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances, including illness, weather disruptions, flight delays, or other travel-related issues.

No-Show Policy:

Failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior written cancellation will be considered a no-show, and the reservation will be non-refundable.

Policy Enforcement:

This cancellation policy applies to all direct bookings made through Always Vacation Rentals. By completing a reservation, the guest acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
