“We visited for three days with a six-person family group and it was perfect! This was by far the most well-stocked Airbnb I’ve ever been to. The scenery was beautiful and all the amenities (including the awesome kayaks, fire pit, grill, and outdoor shower) were very accessible. There were lots of thoughtful touches, like a full corner of pet supplies, which our pup adored! The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms were a bit smaller than expected, but very private and relaxing. The winding staircase could potentially be difficult to navigate for anyone with physical disabilities, but it was fairly easy for us (just bring soft socks!). “We loved our stay at Brenda’s place. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. The patio is huge and the view of the lake is gorgeous. The fenced in yard was fantastic for our dogs and she even had a very nice cover to put on the couch! The beach chairs were very comfortable and the kayaks were very fun. The lake was clear with a sandy bottom and some seaweed. The house is so well stocked we always had what we needed. For example-we had six large river rafts that clip together and we were wishing we had an anchor and (of course!!) there was a concrete block with rope attached off to the side on the beach!! The bedrooms are small without much room for suitcases and clothes but we travel light so it wasn’t a problem. The circular stair and a small step down from kitchen to living ares was disconcerting at first but we got used to it quickly. Overall the place is so well laid out and the outdoor area so amazing that we throughly enjoyed ourselves!! Also the outdoor shower was great!!” –Kevin, July 2023

“Our week at Brenda’s place was magical. Much needed peace and calm for me, my 3 kids and dog. My dog loved the backyard. The view was just beautiful and my kids loved kayaking and swimming in the lake. There are adult and kid kayaks. Plus some floats, which I found very relaxing while hanging out with the kids. We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit and grilled burgers on the patio. The outdoor shower was awesome for the kids! And the kitchen is fully stocked, we cooked all week! The spiral staircase was a bit difficult for the dog and for this mama who uses the bathroom a few times a night, but I knew this going in and it worked out just fine. The view, the kayaks, the patio all worth a couple trips a night down the spiral staircase!! And Brenda is a lovely host! We lost a kayak and she was super friendly and helpful when I told her (I felt so bad!) I found it though and was able to kayak it back with the help of a kind neighbor who gave me some rope.
